Solihull Heart Support Group
website updated 24/06/2021

Meetings and Evening classes
After 26 years we are very sorry to confirm that Solihull Heart Support Group will close as from June 30th 2021. The committee/trustees have had to make this difficult decision as we do not have sufficient people to run the group in line with both BHF and the Charities Commission regulations.

2021 sees the 26th Anniversary of the formation of the
Solihull Heart Support Group

Welcome to our web site

We are here to provide support
to anyone who has heart problems.

You are not alone !

Plaque -

We are an active group of former heart patients who aim to improve the quality of life for ourselves and fellow heart patients and their families by sharing our experiences, improving awareness and understanding of the various heart conditions. We believe that given due respect to their heart problems most patients can lead a near normal active life. The group is primarily intended for people living in the Solihull and neighbouring areas of the West Midlands, UK.

The Group is affiliated to the British Heart Foundation - the heart research charity.

In 2002 we were pleased to welcome Dr R G Murray, Head of Cardiology for Birmingham Heartlands and Solihull Hospital Trust who agreed top become our first Honorary President. Dr Murray has supported the Group right from the start and we feel that his acceptance of this position further demonstrates the importance of our work.

Please browse the pages within this website. We feel that you will find that The Group has something to offer to all heart patients and their carers. Please note this is NOT a Dating Website.
